JetBlue's two-day "Autumn's Up" flash sale

You have until midnight EST on Wednesday, August 10 to book a very cheap one-way flight to just about any destination in America, thanks to JetBlue's two-day "Autumn's Up" flash sale.

Deals include flights between August 23 and November 17 (considered "shoulder season" as travel usually slows down and many hotels offer cheaper rates), pretty much covering all days of the week.

Need more convincing? Check out the full list of flights right here.

Highlights include a flight from Long Beach, California to Oakland, California for $39? Also consider a $49 trip from Washington, DC to Charleston, South Carolina.

And, if you're willing to spend a tad more, you might want to consider an Austin-New York flight for $119 or a one-way ticket to Medellin, Colombia from Fort Lauderdale for only $144.

The cheapest flights come in at $249 each (Boston to Las Vegas or Orlando to Santo Domingo) and we'd most definitely consider booking those.

Following this highly addictive (and extremely exhausting) Presidential cycle that we've all been a part of, we suggest planning a nice little getaway as soon as possible—you live only once, after all.

Wizz Air celebrates its first Bergamo flight operated with one of its brand new Airbus A321 aircraft

Wizz Air celebrates its first Bergamo flight operated with one of its brand new Airbus A321 aircraft

Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, today celebrates the memorable milestone of its first Bergamo flight operated with one of the airline’s brand new, state-of-the-art Airbus A321 aircraft.
Bergamo was one of the first airports WIZZ added to its low-fare route network in May 2004 and since then, the airline has constantly expanded its network connecting Lombardy with more and more Central and Eastern European destinations. With the recently announced Suceava and Podgorica services, Wizz Air’s Bergamo network now consists of 19 routes to 10 countries.  Together with Bergamo, Wizz Air operates flights from 14 Italian airports offering 80 routes to 21 destinations.
Wizz Air’s commitment to Bergamo is underlined by the significant growth in passenger numbers. In 2015, Wizz Air carried nearly 500,000 passengers on its low fare routes to and from Bergamo, a 15% growth year over year.
The first WIZZ flight with an Airbus A321ceo aircraft is an important milestone in the airline’s Bergamo operations. The type was first deployed in WIZZ’s fleet in November 2015 and Wizz Air now has seven A321 aircraft flying its most popular routes. The airline’s Bucharest route from Bergamo is already operated with one of these aircraft and from February 2017, one is planned to be deployed on WIZZ’s Sofia service, too.
With 230 seats on board, the Airbus A321ceo is the most efficient single-aisle passenger aircraft.  The aircraft’s superior operating economics mean that WIZZ offers more seats to more destinations at WIZZ’s lowest fares at the same time as delivering the lowest emissions and noise footprint in its class.
In addition to the refreshed livery now appearing more widely in the fleet, Wizz Air’s A321s feature new interior colours, a lighter cabin ambiance, soft leather seats and more cabin seating choices.
WIZZ will take 30 of the current version A321 aircraft through 2018 and then begin accepting delivery of the A321neo, featuring advanced engine technology, in 2019. The continued investment in new technology reflect Wizz Air’s commitment to become the most efficient airline in Europe and this, in turn, will help ensure that Wizz Air remains Central and Eastern Europe’s largest low-cost fare airline.

Gabor Vasarhelyi, Corporate Communications Manager at Wizz Air, said: “We are thrilled to celebrate the first landing of one of our brand new Airbus A321 aircraft at Bergamo Airport. We have carried over three million passengers on our low-fare routes during the 12 years of fruitful cooperation with the airport and this important milestone once again underlines our commitment to Bergamo passengers. The deployment of the 230-seat Airbus A321 aircraft, as the most efficient single-aisle aircraft in the sky, will help us keep our fares low and expand our ever-growing network, while we will keep on enhancing customer experience and delivering excellent onboard service on each WIZZ flight. Our friendly crew looks forward to welcoming you on board one of our Airbus A321!”

Fly to Cuba from Montreal for under 300$ with Air China!

MONTREAL | Air China becomes cheap tour operator from Montreal. Three times a week, flights will depart from Beijing on the same day to Havana, Cuba, for as little as $ 150 to $ 300 depending on the site chosen.
This unbeatable promotional begin on 27 December and will offer departures on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays during the winter.
“Air China saw the potential market, since there is no direct flight between Beijing and Havana, far too long. The planes landing in Montreal can therefore leave 2 hours 40 later, with travelers to Cuba and return the next day to catch a flight from Montreal to Beijing, “said the spokesman of Air China, Li Yufu Florian.
In a press release, Air China said that ties between China and Cuba are tightly tightened in recent years and that this destination will enhance economic, trade and cultural cooperation between the two countries, in addition to stimulating the Asian tourism to Cuba .
Air China also wants to offer residents of the Caribbean to borrow the Havana connecting flight, then travel to Beijing from Montreal.

First Chinese
Air China believes that flights to Havana will be used by many Asians who choose to go through Montreal before a sun destination. It calculates that 50% of places are already occupied by Chinese and Cubans who want to visit their families.
The destination to Havana will be by the same device that performs the Beijing- linking Montreal, a Boeing 777-300 with a capacity of 311 seats. Passengers will be entitled to free drinks and meals during the flight, as well as two pieces of luggage of 23 kg at no extra charge, in addition to the carry-on bag.
Air China has signed agreements with some travel agencies specializing in flights to Asia, but will also sell tickets directly from its website.

Jet Blue Launches Crazy Sale With Flights as Low as $39

Laura Begley Bloom

If you missed booking travel on Black Friday or Cyber Monday, don’t despair. JetBlue is rewarding those who waited with a “Winter Wanderland” sale, offering rock-bottom prices on flights both domestic and international. Think $39 for Charleston, S.C. to Washington, D.C.
Longer haul flights are well-priced, too: $99 gets you from Fort Lauderdale to Las Vegas. How about $159 from New York to Liberia in Costa Rica (the perfect jumping-off point for a trip to the Papagayo Peninsula)? That’s just what we need to erase the winter blues.
There are a few caveats: you can’t travel on Fridays, Sundays, or certain holidays (Christmas, New Year’s, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day) and the week of Presidents’ Day is also backed out.
But these are deals that can’t be beat.
The sale ends Dec. 2 at 11:59 p.m. EST.
