WOW air (WW, Reykjavik Keflavik) has placed a firm order with Airbus Industrie (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) for four A321s during the 2016 Farnborough International Airshow. Two of the jets are expected to be delivered in 2017 with the rest to follow in 2018.
The Icelandic LCC is an all-Airbus operator employing two A320-200s, five A321-200s, and three A330-300s on flights throughout Europe as well as the United States. Engines chosen are CFM International.
This is the airline’s first direct purchase agreement with Airbus.
