Kunming Airlines signs MOU with Boeing for 10 B737 MAX

Kunming Airlines (KY, Kunming Changshui) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Boeing (BOE, Chicago O'Hare) for the purchase of ten B737 MAX 7 jets at the 2016 Farnborough International Airshow.

The order, which is still subject to approval by the Chinese Government, will see Kunming Airlines become the MAX 7's Chinese launch customer once formalized.

A subsidiary of Shenzhen Airlines (ZH, Shenzhen), Kunming Airlines operates seven B737-700s and nine B737-800s on regular passenger flights to more than forty cities across China.
