Iran Air (IR, Tehran Mehrabad) has suspended its 2x weekly Tehran Imam Khomeini-Kuala Lumpur Int'l, Malaysia service on account of its sole B747SP - EP-IAC (msn 21093) - undergoing mandatory maintenance checks. Local newspapers report the route may resume with effect from August 1 but this is dependent on the completion of all necessary checks.
