China's Hainan Airlines eyes Africa service resumption in 4Q - ch-aviation.com

Hainan Airlines (HU, Haikou) is planning to resume flights to mainland Africa following an application to the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC).

In its request for route authority, the HNA Group unit said it wanted to operate a 3x weekly Beijing Capital-Cairo Int'l, Egypt beginning December of this year.


Hainan Airlines last served Africa in 2012 serving Khartoum, Sudan via Dubai Int'l and Luanda viaAbu Dhabi Int'l.
