ANA NH843 B788 diverted to Naha, cracked windshield

An ANA All Nippon Airways Boeing 787-800, registration JA874A performing flight NH-843 from Tokyo Haneda (Japan) to Singapore (Singapore) with 214 people on board, was enroute at FL400 about 220nm southwest of Naha (Japan) when the captain's windshield cracked prompting the crew to descend to 13,000 feet, turn around and divert to Naha, where the aircraft landed safely on runway 36 about 75 minutes later.

A replacement Boeing 787-800 registration JA838A positioned to Naha, resumed the flight and reached Singapore with a delay of 14.5 hours.
