A WOW Air Airbus A321-200, registration TF-MOM performing flight WW-117 from Keflavik (Iceland) to Baltimore,MD (USA), was on final approach to Baltimore's runway 32L when the crew reported a bird strike. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on the runway and taxied to the apron, the crew again reporting they had a bird strike causing a lot of noise. A runway inspection was performed but did not find any debris. While taxiing the crew detailed they had a bird strike on landing, they went through a flock of large birds, sized like geese, at least one of the engines (CFM56) was hit and was now vibrating.
The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Baltimore 6 days later.
