Azur Air (ZF, Krasnoyarsk) is one of several Russian carriers to have announced plans to resume charter flights to Turkey in the wake of a thaw in relations between the two countries.

The leisure charter specialist has announced that effective July 10 through to October 30, it will operate weekly Sunday flights between Ekaterinburg and Antalya.

Other Russian routes expected to feature in Azur Air's itineraries include: St. Petersburg, Moscow Domodedovo; Rostov, and Novosibirsk.

Turkey has said it expects at least 750,000 Russian tourists to visit its resorts by year-end.
