A Qantas Airbus A330-300, registration VH-QPI performing flight QF-130 from Shanghai Pudong (China) to Sydney,NS (Australia), was climbing out of Pudong Airport's runway 16R when the crew stopped the climb at 1800 meters (about 5900 feet) due to a hydraulic failure. The aircraft burned off fuel and returned to Pudong Airport for a safe landing on runway 16L about 95 minutes after departure.
The flight is currently estimated to depart Shanghai with a delay of 22.5 hours.
