Cathay Pacific has moved forward planned Airbus A350-900XWB service introductory on Hong Kong – Auckland route, currently scheduled to depart Hong Kong on 27OCT16, instead of 30OCT16. The A350-900XWB will operate this route 7 weekly, and increases to 10 weekly for the month of March 2017.
The following schedule is effective from 30OCT16 to 30NOV16.
CX197 HKG2125 – 1315+1AKL 359 D
CX198 AKL1450 – 2100HKG 359 D
Previously reported, A350 will operate on the seasonal 2nd daily CX117/118 from 01DEC16 to 28FEB17 (HKG departure; CX197/198 operates with 777-300ER during same period). All 10 weekly flights in March 2017 operates with A350.
As a result of this latest schedule change, Cathay Pacific’s last scheduled long-haul A340 service is now scheduled on 27OCT16, Auckland to Hong Kong.
