An ANZ Air New Zealand Airbus A320-200, registration ZK-OJS performing flight NZ-514 from Christchurch to Auckland (New Zealand), was on final approach to Auckland's runway 05R when a bird impacted the aircraft. The crew continued for a safe landing.
The aircraft was unable to continue its schedule however, the next rotation to Christchurch needed to be cancelled. The aircraft was able to resume service after about 8 hours on the ground.
