Following the unsuccessful military coup in Turkey Friday, dozens of flights between Finland and Turkey were cancelled. Air traffic returned to normal after noon on Sunday, with flights arriving and departing on schedule.

Flights between Finland and Turkey have returned to normal following the failed military coup in Turkey.
According to Finnish airport operator Finavia, overnight and morning flights to and from the popular holiday destination of Antalya in Turkey have been operating as per their regular schedule, as have flights to Istanbul.
Istanbul's Atatürk Airport was closed Friday night because of the attempted military coup. Many airlines cancelled scheduled flights and charter flights to holiday destinations in Turkey.
Finnish tour operators say that most charter flights are now operating as planned.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is recommending that Finnish travellers to Turkey exercise extreme caution and avoid large crowds and demonstrations.
