China Southern Airlines (CZ, Guangzhou) says it has ordered ten A330-300s from Airbus Industrie (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) with deliveries scheduled to run from 2017 through to 2019.
In a filing with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, the carrier said that subject to Beijing's approval, it would take delivery of three aircraft in 2017, five in 2018, and two in 2019. The purchase will be financed partly from internal airline resources and partly by commercial bank loans.
China Southern currently operates nineteen A330-300s (with three more set to arrive) and sixteenA330-200s on flights throughout China as well as to India, Australia, the United Arab Emirates, the Maldives, and Mauritius.
