Iran Air A300B2 flight IR406 near Isfahan, engine #2 shut down in flight

An Iran Air Airbus A300B2, registration EP-IBS performing flight IR-406 from Bushehr to Tehran Mehrabad (Iran) with 236 people on board, was enroute near Isfahan (Iran) when the crew needed to shut the right hand engine (CF6) down due to a zero indication on N2. The aircraft diverted to Isfahan for a safe landing.

A replacement A300B4 registration EP-IBI was dispatched to Isfahan, continued the flight and delivered the passengers to Teheran with a delay of 7.5 hours.
