Jetstar Japan A320 enroute on Jul 9th 2016, unreliable airspeeds

A Jetstar Japan Airbus A320-200, registration JA04JJ performing flight GK-502 from Fukuoka to Tokyo Narita (Japan) with 150 passengers and 6 crew, was enroute at FL370 about 300nm east of Fukuoka and about 200nm southwest of Tokyo when the airspeed indicators of both captain and first officer became temporarily unstable. The crew initiated a descent to FL250, the air speed indications stabilized again and the crew continued to Tokyo for a safe landing.

Japan's TSB have opened an investigation into the occurrence.

The airline reported the occurrence was rated a serious incident and is being investigated.

Japan's Ministry of Transport reported the indicated air speeds varied between 270 and 60 knots.
