American Airlines today (10JUL16) opened reservation for its planned Boeing 787-9 operation, currently scheduled to make its debut on 06OCT16. Initially the airline will operate the -9 aircraft on domestic Dallas/Ft. Worth – Los Angeles route until 03NOV16. The configuration of the 787-9 is J30W21Y234.

Dallas/Ft. Worth – Madrid 787-9 replacing 777-200ER

Dallas/Ft. Worth – Sao Paulo Guarulhos 787-9 replacing 777-300ER
AA963 DFW1900 – 0905+1GRU 789 D
AA962 GRU2255 – 0515+1DFW 789 D
