Taiwan's China Airlines delays A350 debut to 4Q - ch-aviation.com

China Airlines (CI, Taipei Taoyuan) says Airbus Industrie (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) has informed it that delivery of its maiden A350-900, B-18901 (cn 49), has been delayed from July to late-September of this year.

The Taiwanese carrier says the delays relate to a growing number of aircraft that have yet to enter Zodiac's cabin completion station on Airbus's final assembly line.

However, the European manufacturer has assured China Airlines that as per its original agreement, four A350-900s will arrive in Taiwan this year.

Other carriers that have thus far suffered delays in the delivery of their respective A350s include:Finnair (AY, Helsinki Vantaa), Singapore Airlines (SQ, Singapore Changi), Cathay Pacific (CX, Hong Kong Chek Lap Kok), Thai Airways International (TG, Bangkok Suvarnabhumi), Ethiopian Airlines(ET, Addis Ababa), and Qatar Airways (QR, Doha Hamad Int'l).
