American B772 near New York on Jun 10th 2016, potential fuel leak

An American Airlines Boeing 777-200, registration N784AN performing flight AA-48 from Dallas Ft. Worth,TX (USA) to Paris Charles de Gaulle (France) with 250 people on board, was enroute at FL370 about 120nm east of New York,NY (USA) when the crew decided to divert to New York's JFK Airport reporting a mechanical problem. The aircraft landed safely on JFK's runway 31L about 30 minutes later, the crew subsequently advised they wanted emergency services to check them out, they had a potential fuel leak.

The remainder of the flight was cancelled.

The occurrence aircraft remained on the ground in New York for 17 hours, then positioned back to Dallas Ft. Worth.
