Lufthansa A321 at Frankfurt on May 30th 2016, engine problem



A Lufthansa Airbus A321-200, registration D-AISF performing flight LH-178 from Frankfurt/Main to Berlin Tegel (Germany) with 198 passengers, was climbing out of Frankfurt when the crew stopped the climb at FL120 reporting problems with an engine (V2533), the engine was reduced to idle. The aircraft returned to Frankfurt for a safe landing on runway 25C about 30 minutes after departure.

The flight was cancelled, the passengers were rebooked onto the next flights.
