Heroic KLM Pilot Makes Emergency Landing, Saves Baby

A KLM pilot is being called a hero after his quick thinking saved the life of a seriously ill child.
According to reports, a baby boy went into cardiac arrest on the flight from Amsterdam to Singapore. A doctor on board attempted to treat the infant, but the child’s condition didn’t improve.
It’s every parent’s worst nightmare. Your child is having a medical emergency, and you’re thousands of miles from the nearest hospital. Surely, this child’s mother feared the worst — that is, until the pilot sprang into action.
Knowing the child needed medical help, the pilot made an emergency landing about three hours into the 13-hour journey. The plane landed in Bucharest, Romania, where the baby boy and his mother deplaned and headed to a hospital.
A DJ named Mental Theo was on the flight and shared the captain’s heroic actions with his followers on Twitter.
He also tweeted that the pilot later updated the passengers, letting them know that the woman and her baby were doing well at a Romanian hospital.
