The Independent Flight Attendant’s Organisation (UFO) has agreed to call off the strikes announced for Thursday, Friday and next Monday after progress was made in talks with Lufthansa management.
UFO agrees to forgo strikes until at least the December 2nd, where an employment summit will take place.
Relations between the two sides had soured over recent months as Lufthansa sought to push through cost cuts.
The changes have saw cabin crew stage the longest ever strike in the history of the German carrier earlier this month.
However, the union cautioned on Wednesday that further agreements on jobs needed to be achieved by that date in order to prevent further strikes.
