Following a series of attacks in Paris yesterday, American Airlines is letting passengers change their tickets to that city for no fee.
American said it cancelled 48 flights last night from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport to Paris’ Charles de Gaulle International Airport, which remained open, and some flights were delayed. American today is working to reaccommodate passengers, the company said.
“American continues to monitor the tragic situation in Paris,” said Andrea Huguely, a spokeswoman for the Fort Worth-based airline. “For our customers who wish to change their travel plans, we have a flexible travel policy waiver in place.”
Travelers should check with other airlines regarding their policies.
The Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the Paris attacks that killed more than 100 people and injured more than 200.
