Delta DL1183 A320 diverted to Myrtle Beach, APU problem

A Delta Airlines Airbus A320-200, registration N327NW performing flight DL-1183 from Norfolk,VA to Atlanta,GA (USA) with 160 passengers and 6 crew, was climbing out of Norfolk when the crew stopped the climb at FL230 due to problems with the Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) and worked the related checklists. About 20 minutes later the crew decided to divert to Myrtle Beach,SC (USA) where the aircraft landed safely about 25 minutes after the decision to divert.

The aircraft remained on the ground for about 4 hours, then continued the flight and reached Atlanta with a delay of 4.5 hours.
